One of the important festivals of Lord Shiva and especially in the form of Natarajar and Sivagami. There are six abishegams in a year for Lord Natarajar at Chidambaram. This Abishekam falls in the tamil month of Margazhi (Approx mid-December to mid-Jan) on Aridra Star (Thiruvathirai).
